A Kasaragod Deanery-level Recollection Programme for the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion was organized by Kumbla Church. The programme aimed at spiritually enriching the ministers and helping them carry out their ministry with greater devotion and responsibility.
The recollection talk and general instructions were given by Rev. Fr. Boniface Pinto. The inaugural address was delivered by the Vicar Forane, Very Rev. Fr. Herald Mascarenhas. The programme provided an opportunity for participants to renew their commitment to this important ministry and to deepen their Eucharistic spirituality. The sessions were meaningful and enriching for all the participants.
A total of 73 participants attended the programme from Kumbla (3), Miyapadav (7), Permude (4), Naramoady (7), Kayyar (4), Kasaragod (5), Kollangana (6), Bela (10), Manjeshwar (3), Pavur (1), Mariashram (5), Maniampare (1), Ukkinadaka (2), and Vorkady (15).
The programme went on successfully with the active participation of the ministers and the support of the priests. The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to all the Fathers and the Vicar Forane for their valuable guidance, cooperation, and support.
